Jensen gets selected to umpire the 2007 High School Showcase of
Players.
The Ryan Lemmon Foundation hosts an annual
showcase of High School baseball players for graduating
seniors. The foundation, centered in the City of Irvine,
was established in 1995. They host this tournament,
provide scholarships for high school athletes and conduct
seminars relating to baseball beyond high school.
The event is broadcast on Cox Cable every
year. Our Chief Umpire and High School Liaison, Russ
Jensen, was selected to be the plate umpire for the senior
game. The event took place on June 9th and has been
broadcast on Cox Channel 3 numerous times.
